A Smile for a Dreary Day

Another dreary day in South Beach. Looks like an umbrella will be a must accessory to all events. Writing more South Beach bios on movers, shakers, has-beens and up-and-comers for a new website. On such a gloomy day I needed a smile so I posted one the photos taken recently by photographer Howard Austin Feld at a photo shoot for Elaine Lancaster's Center of the Universe exhibit during Art Basel Miami Beach. Like most people, I can always put on a smile for the cameras. Today is totally booked and I'm disappointed that I can't even fit in a visit to the gym but I'm still sore from Monday night and I went last night. Just started reading Whispers from the Bay by Florida author John Tkac, which is about a young boys mysterious connection with the dolphins. Now that's something to whisper about.

“I want to be remembered as the girl who always smiles even when her heart is broken, and the one that could always brighten up your day even if she couldn't brighten her own.”

How lovely. I'd remember a girl like that.
