Writing in the Rain and I've Kicked TV to the Curb

I've been a good boy and have been working on lots of writing projects (including my own books) so I've been negligent (yes, again) in writing in my blog. Everyone loved the piece from one of my old Wire columns so I'll include another excerpt from the past in a day or so. In the mean time, I'm writing as fast as I can so I have time to do laundry, the dishes, go to the gym, and eat (rarelly do I have trouble eating). I've stopped watching regular television for awhile (just Netflixs and Mad Men -which I couldn't give up) and it's actually helping. I'm getting more done. I was getting hooked on morning television, the time I start writing, and couldn't stop watching the boobtube until The View went off. Then I started lwatching the news at noon and ooking for interesting afternoon TV. That's when I knew I had a problem. Now I might have other problems and obstacles but I've kicked my TV addiction for awhile and hopefully I'm back to writing in this blog daily.
