Who Remembers The Old Days?

Heard from my agent who keeps telling me he loves my book SOUTH BEACH STAR but hasn't yet sold it.
Working on a list of names documenting some of the South Beach pioneers and it's amazing the list of people that have come and gone, not to mention the clubs. Who remembers 821 (called 801 recently in the new Wire), Warsaw Ballroom, Swirl (one of my favorites), Rose's Bar & Music Lounge (when we had live music on South Beach), BASH (where Gerry Kelly started his South Beach reign), Kremlin, and Bar 609? I'm working with a data-base of about 2,000 names and it's like my life flashing before my eyes when I write about these people. I'm glad I'm still standing.
