The rain has kept me inside and although I'm busy working I can't stop eating. (I hate that!)Rain has continued to dampen the spirits of Miami residents all day. I did take a brief bike ride down Lincoln Road but got soaked. The lights were off on the big Christmas tree and several of the palm tree lights were out as well. Everyone that I've talked to today seems to be in a blue (or wet) funk. At least it isn't freezing like up north and in Virginia where they have predicted snow storms this weekend (possible of to a foot of snow). That's something I'll have to deal with next week since I leave for Virginia on Monday to spend Christmas with my family. I haven't had a white Christmas in a while but would rather miss the freezing cold that comes with snow. Today I'm doing research for a website and compiling info for Where's January newsletter. Yes, I'm chained to the computer. Merry Christmas.
