MiamiArtZine celebrates 101st Issue

Last night MiamiArtAine.com celebrated it's 101st issue with a party at The Angler's Boutique Resort on Washington Avenue in the heart of South Beach. Wine and hors d'oeuvres were enjoyed by the crowd that included artists, writers, publishers, publicists, city commisioners and a senator. A framed poster by artist Sid Daniels (the original appeared in the film Tootsie) was raffled off and won by Prakash Kumar (Board member of Collins Park Neighborhood Association). Among those attending were Merle Weiss, Commissioner Michael Gongora, artist Sid Daniels, Filmmaker/photographer Joey Daoud, Karen Brown (The Angler's), Marci Lefton, Suzanne Val Elrod, Suzanne & Henry Stolar, Arthur Whitelaw, Mark Lechter & Scott Balson of The Electric Bicycle Store, Vice-Mayor Deede Weithorn, and MiamiArtZine.com publisher Harvey Burstein.
