South Beach Star Cover

Still working on South Beach Star cover. Thanks to everyone who responded and gave me input on the cover design. The designer is doing me a favor so I have to wait until she's available. I'm very anxious and want the book out but I understand I need to take it one step at a time. It will only have one cover so I need to get it right. Thanks to everyone for your support.

I was going to add some old nightlife photos but haven't figured how to scan with this borrowed computer. Maybe tomorrow.

Boy Do I Need A Margarita

Cinco de Mayo is here and do I need a margarita. No salt. What a week. Another computer blew up. Literally. Pop. Smoke. No computer. Now I'm working on a borrowed MAC. As I'm a PC person it's like starting from scratch-which is really what it is since all my files are on the other computer. Luckily everything is saved in cyberspace but I can't get it back to upload until I get a new computer. I must have a computer curse. Anyway, the search for the right book cover for South Beach Star continues. I do hope we get a final cover before Memorial Day Weekend. I will keep everyone posted. Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Another computer hits the dust

What is it with me and computers? I think I've just blown another computer. When I tried turning it on it made a popping noise and then I smelled smoke. It didn't turn on. The computer guy comes Wednesday. Now I'm using a loaner. I haven't been on the computer since Saturday since my computer was acting up and the computer guy was coming this morning. Now it's not a rush. I'm still answering emails and trying to reorganize myself so I can start uploading content on miamiartzine. Of course I don't have any of my files and hopefully I haven't lost my photos again. My stuff is backed up but it's all a pain. Just when everything is going okay something always happens. Another day, another problem to solve. That's life. Hope no one else is having computer problems like I am.

Thanks for all the comments regarding the South Beach Star cover. I'll have to put that on hole until my computer situation is resolved.
